How to uninstall Recuva from your system

Recuva is a Windows application. A way to remove Recuva using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Recuva is an application by the software company Piriform. Some people decide to erase this application. This can be easier said than done because removing this by hand requires some know-how regarding Windows internal functioning. One of the best EASY approach to erase Recuva is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around utility to take care of your PC.

  • download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with the program's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful Windows tool.

3. Click on the General Tools button

5. A list of the applications installed on the PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate Recuva or simply click the Search feature and type in "Recuva". If it is installed on your PC the Recuva app will be found automatically. When you select Recuva in the list of applications, the following data about the program is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have about Recuva, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the application you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Recuva.

8. After uninstalling Recuva, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong Recuva which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Recuva with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and able to serve you properly.
