After the uninstall process, the application leaves some files behind on the PC. Some of these are listed below.

How to erase Recuva with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Recuva is a program by Piriform. Sometimes, users decide to remove this program. This is hard because performing this by hand takes some knowledge related to Windows internal functioning. One of the best QUICK procedure to remove Recuva is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general tool to maximize the performance of your Windows PC.

• download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with the program's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the applications existing on the computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Recuva or simply click the Search field and type in "Recuva". If it is installed on your PC the Recuva app will be found very quickly. When you select Recuva in the list of programs, the following information regarding the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding Recuva, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the application you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall Recuva.


8. After removing Recuva, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of Recuva that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing Recuva with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your system.
