A way to uninstall RAMDisk from your computer

You can find below detailed information on how to uninstall RAMDisk for Windows. The Windows version was created by Dataram, Inc.. You can read more on Dataram, Inc. or check for application updates here. Usually the RAMDisk program is installed in the C:\Program Files\RAMDisk directory, depending on the user's option during install. The full command line for uninstalling RAMDisk is MsiExec.exe /X{E04FD66D-ADDD-48A0-B766-4111945C09D4}. Keep in mind that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you may receive a notification for admin rights. RAMDisk.exe is the programs's main file and it takes approximately 2.10 MB (2205552 bytes) on disk.

Quite a few files, folders and registry entries will not be removed when you are trying to remove RAMDisk from your PC.

A way to remove RAMDisk from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

RAMDisk is a program by the software company Dataram, Inc.. Some people choose to erase this application. Sometimes this can be easier said than done because uninstalling this manually requires some know-how related to Windows internal functioning. One of the best SIMPLE manner to erase RAMDisk is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around utility to maximize the performance of your Windows PC.

  • navigate to Download Link
  • download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools category

4. Press the Uninstall Programs button

5. A list of the programs installed on the computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find RAMDisk or simply activate the Search field and type in "RAMDisk". The RAMDisk application will be found automatically. Notice that when you select RAMDisk in the list of applications, the following information regarding the program is made available to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding RAMDisk, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the application you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall RAMDisk.

8. After removing RAMDisk, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong RAMDisk that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing RAMDisk with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your computer will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
