How to uninstall PrivateTunnel from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

PrivateTunnel is an application released by OpenVPN Technologies. Some users try to uninstall it. This is efortful because removing this manually takes some skill regarding removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best SIMPLE approach to uninstall PrivateTunnel is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and general utility to take care of your PC.

• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with the program's design and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good PC management program.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs installed on the computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find PrivateTunnel or simply click the Search field and type in "PrivateTunnel". If it is installed on your PC the PrivateTunnel app will be found automatically. Notice that after you click PrivateTunnel in the list of applications, some information regarding the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have regarding PrivateTunnel, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the application you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall PrivateTunnel.


8. After removing PrivateTunnel, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong PrivateTunnel that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them.
