A guide to uninstall Power Manager from your system

Power Manager is a Windows application. Following the uninstall process, the application leaves leftovers on the computer. Part_A few of these are shown below.

You should delete the folders below after you uninstall Power Manager:
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\ThinkPad\Utilities

Files remaining:
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\ThinkPad\Utilities\ATM.DLL
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\ThinkPad\Utilities\ATM64.DLL

Usually the following registry data will not be cleaned:
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{5184E126-B472-11D2-A0AF-444553540000}
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{5B6CDEAF-47AD-40F4-9FE6-1937C3D561AF}
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{5D850D28-5597-48E9-9D80-0D0A1A88584B}
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{DAC01CEE-5BAE-42D5-81FC-B687E84E8405}

Use regedit.exe to delete the following additional values from the Windows Registry:
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{15E43F10-6176-4C93-BBEF-1002B9913E86}\InprocServer32\
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{4A6BD96E-F069-4DB6-AA74-38EDDB90D0F5}\InprocServer32\

A way to remove Power Manager from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Power Manager is an application marketed by the software company Lenovo Group Limited. Frequently, computer users decide to erase it. 6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate Power Manager or simply click the Search feature and type in "Power Manager". The Power Manager application will be found automatically. After you select Power Manager in the list of programs, the following information regarding the program is made available to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding Power Manager, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the app you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. accept the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Power Manager.

8. After uninstalling Power Manager, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of Power Manager that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Power Manager with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
