A way to uninstall Poedit from your system

A way to delete Poedit using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Poedit is a program released by Vaclav Slavik. Sometimes, users choose to remove it. Sometimes this can be troublesome because performing this by hand requires some knowledge related to removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best EASY way to remove Poedit is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and all around utility to optimize your Windows PC.

• download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful program.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the applications existing on the computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Poedit or simply activate the Search field and type in "Poedit". If it exists on your system the Poedit application will be found automatically. After you click Poedit in the list of applications, the following information regarding the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding Poedit, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Poedit:

• The publisher is: http://www.poedit.net/
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Poedit\unins000.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Poedit.


8. After uninstalling Poedit, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of Poedit which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing Poedit with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your computer.
