A guide to uninstall PMB from your PC

This page contains complete information on how to remove PMB for Windows. The Windows version was created by Sony Corporation. Additional info about Sony Corporation can be read here. The program is usually installed in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony\PMB directory (same installation drive as Windows). The full command line for uninstalling PMB is MsiExec.exe /X{B6A98E5F-D6A7-46FB-9E9D-1F7BF443491C}. Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you might receive a notification for admin rights. PMBBrowser.exe is the PMB's main executable file and it occupies about 7.75 MB (8128568 bytes) on disk.

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be uninstalled; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

How to delete PMB from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

PMB is a program offered by Sony Corporation. Some users choose to erase this application. This can be difficult because deleting this manually requires some know-how related to removing Windows programs manually. The best EASY manner to erase PMB is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around utility to maximize the performance of your computer.

• download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good program.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the programs installed on the PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate PMB or simply activate the Search feature and type in "PMB". If it is installed on your PC the PMB application will be found very quickly. After you click PMB in the list of apps, some data about the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about PMB, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the app you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. accept the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove PMB.


8. After uninstalling PMB, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong PMB that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing PMB using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your system.

Your Windows system will remain clean, speedy and able to run without errors or problems.
