A way to delete PCBoost using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

PCBoost is an application offered by the software company PGWARE LLC. Frequently, computer users decide to erase this application. This can be troublesome because deleting this manually requires some know-how related to Windows program uninstallation. The best EASY procedure to erase PCBoost is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:

  • download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful system utility.

3. Press the General Tools button

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool

5. A list of the applications installed on the computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate PCBoost or simply activate the Search field and type in "PCBoost". The PCBoost program will be found automatically. Notice that when you select PCBoost in the list , the following information regarding the application is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding PCBoost, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the app you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

  • The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\PCBoost\unins000.exe
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. accept the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall PCBoost.

8. After uninstalling PCBoost, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong PCBoost which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling PCBoost using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
