How to erase Overwolf from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Overwolf is a program marketed by Overwolf Ltd.. Sometimes, users want to remove it. Sometimes this can be troublesome because doing this by hand takes some experience related to removing Windows programs manually. One of the best SIMPLE procedure to remove Overwolf is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general tool to optimize your Windows PC.

• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the applications installed on the PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Overwolf or simply activate the Search field and type in "Overwolf". If it is installed on your PC the Overwolf application will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click Overwolf in the list of programs, the following data about the program is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other people have about Overwolf, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the application you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Overwolf:

• The publisher is: http://www.overwolf.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Overwolf\\OWUninstaller.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Overwolf.


8. After uninstalling Overwolf, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Overwolf which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Overwolf with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your system.
