How to uninstall Overwolf from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Overwolf is an application released by the software company Overwolf Ltd.. Sometimes, people want to remove this application. Sometimes this can be easier said than done because performing this by hand requires some know-how regarding Windows internal functioning. The best SIMPLE action to remove Overwolf is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around tool to clean your Windows computer.

• download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire the program's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system utility.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the applications existing on your PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate Overwolf or simply activate the Search field and type in "Overwolf". If it exists on your system the Overwolf program will be found automatically. Notice that after you click Overwolf in the list , some information regarding the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding Overwolf, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Overwolf:

• The publisher is: http://www.overwolf.com
• The uninstall string is: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Overwolf\\OWUninstaller.exe" /S

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall Overwolf.


8. After uninstalling Overwolf, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of Overwolf which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Overwolf with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your PC.
