How to uninstall Overwolf from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Overwolf is an application released by Overwolf Ltd.. Sometimes, users want to uninstall it. Sometimes this can be easier said than done because removing this manually requires some experience regarding PCs. One of the best QUICK solution to uninstall Overwolf is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around tool to clean your computer.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with the program's design and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the programs installed on the PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate Overwolf or simply click the Search field and type in "Overwolf". If it is installed on your PC the Overwolf program will be found automatically. When you select Overwolf in the list of programs, the following information regarding the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding Overwolf, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Overwolf:

• The web site of the program is: http://www.overwolf.com
• The uninstall string is: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Overwolf\\OWUninstaller.exe" /S

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. accept the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Overwolf.


8. After removing Overwolf, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong Overwolf that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
