A way to erase Notepad++ from your PC with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of utilities.

3. Click on the General Tools button

5. All the programs installed on the PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find Notepad++ or simply click the Search field and type in "Notepad++". The Notepad++ program will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click Notepad++ in the list of apps, some information regarding the program is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding Notepad++, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the application you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Notepad++.

8. After uninstalling Notepad++, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of Notepad++ that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
