A considerable amount of files, folders and registry entries will not be uninstalled when you remove Notepad++ from your PC.

Folders remaining:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\Notepad++
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Notepad++

Usually, the following files are left on disk:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\Notepad++\notepad++.exe

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Notepad++\plugins\config\converter.ini
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Notepad++\plugins\config\NppFTP\Certificates.xml

How to delete Notepad++ from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Notepad++ is a program offered by the software company Notepad++ Team. Some people want to uninstall it. • download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the applications installed on the PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Notepad++ or simply click the Search field and type in "Notepad++". If it is installed on your PC the Notepad++ app will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click Notepad++ in the list of applications, some information about the application is made available to you:

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. accept the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Notepad++.


8. After uninstalling Notepad++, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of Notepad++ which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
