Some files and registry entries are typically left behind when you uninstall Notepad++.

A way to erase Notepad++ with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Notepad++ is a program released by the software company Notepad++ Team. Sometimes, users want to uninstall it. The best SIMPLE way to uninstall Notepad++ is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and general tool to maximize the performance of your system.

• download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with the program's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good PC management program.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the applications installed on your computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate Notepad++ or simply click the Search field and type in "Notepad++". The Notepad++ program will be found automatically. Notice that after you click Notepad++ in the list of apps, the following data about the application is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about Notepad++, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the app you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Notepad++:

• The software company is: http://notepad-plus-plus.org/
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Notepad++\uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. accept the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Notepad++.


8. After uninstalling Notepad++, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong Notepad++ which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Notepad++ with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your PC.
