Some files and registry entries are frequently left behind when you remove Norton 360.

Folders remaining:

The files below were left behind on your disk when you remove Norton 360:

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be uninstalled; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\Symantec.Norton.Antivirus.IEContextMenu

Use regedit.exe to delete the following additional values from the Windows Registry:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Applications\ccSvcHst.exe\TaskbarGroupIcon

How to delete Norton 360 from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the programs existing on the PC will appear

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall Norton 360.


8. After uninstalling Norton 360, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of Norton 360 that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Norton 360 using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
