Some files and registry entries are frequently left behind when you remove Napster.

You should delete the folders below after you uninstall Napster:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\Napster
• C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Napster

Check for and delete the following files from your disk when you uninstall Napster:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\Napster\DALI.dll
• C:\Program Files (x86)\Napster\graphics\gfc_pd_creat_zentouch.bmp
• C:\Program Files (x86)\Napster\graphics\gfc_pd_creat_zenxtra.bmp

Generally the following registry keys will not be removed:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AppID\napster_shell.EXE
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Napster.AutoplayHandler
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Napster.NapLinkHandlerCtrl
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\napster_shell.Napster

Use regedit.exe to delete the following additional registry values from the Windows Registry:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{1FC2DF9A-371F-48D1-B39C-0D71C2683AB3}\LocalServer32\
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{23460B84-B859-41F2-9A97-C6D432B05BD8}\InprocServer32\
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{279E153C-55B2-4732-BF96-E97980961BF4}\LocalServer32\
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{3EAE45D0-2E99-4847-B119-65B0F8B8F781}\InprocServer32\

A way to remove Napster with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Napster.


8. After removing Napster, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of Napster that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
