When planning to uninstall NVIDIA PhysX you should check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Files remaining:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\AGEIA Technologies\NVIDIA_PhysX_Help.mht
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\TaskBar\NVIDIA PhysX Properties Control Panel User Interface.lnk

Many times the following registry keys will not be removed:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\48856BD5369C4544AAABC43A802918AF
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{5DB65884-C963-4454-AABA-4CA3089281FA}

Open regedit.exe to delete the registry values below from the Windows Registry:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\48856BD5369C4544AAABC43A802918AF\ProductName

A way to erase NVIDIA PhysX from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

NVIDIA PhysX is an application offered by the software company NVIDIA Corporation. Some people decide to remove this program. This is difficult because removing this manually requires some advanced knowledge regarding Windows internal functioning. The best EASY action to remove NVIDIA PhysX is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and all around utility to take care of your Windows system.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows tool.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the programs existing on the computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find NVIDIA PhysX or simply activate the Search feature and type in "NVIDIA PhysX". If it exists on your system the NVIDIA PhysX app will be found very quickly. When you click NVIDIA PhysX in the list of applications, some data about the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have about NVIDIA PhysX, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the app you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for NVIDIA PhysX:

• The software company is: www.NVIDIA.com
• The uninstall string is: MsiExec.exe /X{6833245E-DD86-479A-882A-8360D62C8194}

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove NVIDIA PhysX.


8. After removing NVIDIA PhysX, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items of NVIDIA PhysX that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing NVIDIA PhysX using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your system.
