A way to uninstall Miro from your system

Miro is a software application. This page contains details on how to uninstall it from your PC. The Windows version was developed by Participatory Culture Foundation. You can find out more on Participatory Culture Foundation or check for application updates here. Detailed information about Miro can be found at http://www.getmiro.com/. Miro is usually set up in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Participatory Culture Foundation\Miro directory, but this location can vary a lot depending on the user's option when installing the program. You can uninstall Miro by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files (x86)\Participatory Culture Foundation\Miro\uninstall.exe. Keep in mind that you might be prompted for administrator rights. Miro.exe is the programs's main file and it takes close to 380.50 KB (389632 bytes) on disk.

A way to delete Miro using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Miro is an application released by Participatory Culture Foundation. Sometimes, people try to erase it. This is easier said than done because performing this by hand takes some know-how regarding Windows program uninstallation. One of the best QUICK practice to erase Miro is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your Windows system.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the applications installed on your computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Miro or simply click the Search field and type in "Miro". If it is installed on your PC the Miro app will be found very quickly. After you click Miro in the list of programs, some data about the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have about Miro, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the program you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Miro:

• The publisher is: http://www.getmiro.com/
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Participatory Culture Foundation\Miro\uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. Confirm the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Miro.


8. After removing Miro, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong Miro which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling Miro with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your computer.

Your computer will remain clean, speedy and ready to run without errors or problems.
