How to uninstall MX5 from your PC

A way to remove MX5 from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

MX5 is a program offered by Maxthon International Limited. Sometimes, people try to erase it. Sometimes this can be difficult because deleting this by hand requires some know-how regarding PCs. The best SIMPLE way to erase MX5 is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around tool to optimize your Windows system.

• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful program.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the applications existing on the PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find MX5 or simply activate the Search field and type in "MX5". If it is installed on your PC the MX5 application will be found automatically. After you select MX5 in the list , some information regarding the application is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding MX5, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall MX5.


8. After uninstalling MX5, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of MX5 which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them.
