A way to erase MX5 from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

MX5 is an application released by Maxthon International Limited. Sometimes, people decide to remove this program. Sometimes this can be easier said than done because uninstalling this by hand requires some experience related to PCs. One of the best SIMPLE practice to remove MX5 is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around utility to optimize your Windows computer.

  • download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of tools.

3. Click on the General Tools button

5. All the applications installed on your PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find MX5 or simply click the Search field and type in "MX5". If it exists on your system the MX5 application will be found very quickly. After you select MX5 in the list of applications, some data about the application is shown to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have about MX5, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the app you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove MX5.
