A guide to uninstall LibreCAD from your PC

Keep in mind that this location can differ being determined by the user's preference. C:\Program Files (x86)\LibreCAD\Uninstall.exe is the full command line if you want to uninstall LibreCAD. LibreCAD.exe is the LibreCAD's main executable file and it takes about 7.31 MB (7667712 bytes) on disk.

The following executables are installed beside LibreCAD. They take about 7.41 MB (7764717 bytes) on disk.

Following the uninstall process, the application leaves some files behind on the computer. Part_A few of these are listed below.

Directories that were left behind:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\LibreCAD
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\LibreCAD
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\LibreCAD

The files below remain on your disk by LibreCAD when you uninstall it:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\LibreCAD\LibreCAD\librecad.alias
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\LibreCAD\Unnamed
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\LibreCAD\LibreCAD.lnk
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\LibreCAD\Uninstall.lnk

Generally the following registry keys will not be uninstalled:

• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\LibreCAD
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\LibreCAD

A way to uninstall LibreCAD from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

LibreCAD is an application released by the software company LibreCAD Team. Some people decide to remove this application. This is difficult because removing this by hand takes some advanced knowledge regarding Windows internal functioning. One of the best EASY way to remove LibreCAD is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general tool to optimize your Windows computer.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire the program's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of tools.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the programs existing on the computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find LibreCAD or simply activate the Search feature and type in "LibreCAD". The LibreCAD app will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select LibreCAD in the list of apps, the following information about the program is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about LibreCAD, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the program you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for LibreCAD:

• The software company is: http://librecad.org/
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\LibreCAD\Uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. accept the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall LibreCAD.


8. After removing LibreCAD, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of LibreCAD which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing LibreCAD with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your PC.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and ready to serve you properly.
