How to uninstall Lantern from your computer

Lantern is a Windows program. A way to delete Lantern from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Lantern is an application released by the software company Brave New Software Project, Inc.. Sometimes, users choose to erase it. 3. Press the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the applications existing on your computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate Lantern or simply click the Search feature and type in "Lantern". If it is installed on your PC the Lantern application will be found automatically. Notice that after you select Lantern in the list , some information regarding the application is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding Lantern, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Lantern:

• The software company is: http://www.getlantern.org
• The uninstall string is: C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Lantern\uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Lantern.


8. After removing Lantern, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Lantern that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them.
