A guide to uninstall Kobo from your computer

Keep in mind that you might be prompted for administrator rights. Kobo.exe is the programs's main file and it takes circa 9.56 MB (10028280 bytes) on disk.

A way to remove Kobo from your PC with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate Kobo or simply click the Search field and type in "Kobo". If it is installed on your PC the Kobo application will be found very quickly. When you select Kobo in the list of programs, some data about the program is shown to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about Kobo, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the app you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Kobo.

8. After uninstalling Kobo, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of Kobo that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Kobo using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
