How to uninstall Kobo from your system

A way to uninstall Kobo from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Kobo is an application offered by Kobo Inc.. Frequently, users choose to remove this application. This can be troublesome because uninstalling this by hand takes some skill regarding removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best EASY approach to remove Kobo is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around tool to maximize the performance of your system.

  • navigate to Download Link
  • download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with the program's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good program.

3. Press the General Tools category

4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool

5. A list of the applications installed on your PC will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate Kobo or simply click the Search feature and type in "Kobo". If it is installed on your PC the Kobo application will be found automatically. Notice that after you select Kobo in the list of apps, the following information about the program is made available to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about Kobo, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the program you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Kobo.

8. After uninstalling Kobo, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of Kobo which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Kobo using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your computer.
