How to uninstall KeyScrambler from your PC

KeyScrambler is a software application. After the uninstall process, the application leaves leftovers on the PC. Part_A few of these are listed below.

Directories left on disk:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\QFX Software\KeyScrambler

Check for and delete the following files from your disk when you uninstall KeyScrambler:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\QFX Software\KeyScrambler\Settings.ini

Registry that is not removed:

• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\QFX Software\KeyScrambler

A way to erase KeyScrambler from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

KeyScrambler is a program released by QFX Software Corporation. Sometimes, computer users choose to remove this program. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general utility to take care of your Windows system.

• download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good system utility.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs installed on your computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate KeyScrambler or simply activate the Search field and type in "KeyScrambler". If it exists on your system the KeyScrambler application will be found automatically. Notice that after you select KeyScrambler in the list of apps, the following information regarding the application is available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding KeyScrambler, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for KeyScrambler:

• The software company is: http://www.qfxsoftware.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\KeyScrambler\uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall KeyScrambler.


8. After removing KeyScrambler, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of KeyScrambler which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing KeyScrambler with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your system.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and able to take on new tasks.
