How to uninstall HP Advisor from your system

This page is about HP Advisor for Windows. Note that you might be prompted for administrator rights. HP Advisor's primary file takes about 1.57 MB (1644088 bytes) and is named HPAdvisor.exe.

How to uninstall HP Advisor with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

HP Advisor is a program offered by the software company Hewlett-Packard. Frequently, computer users want to remove this program. Sometimes this is easier said than done because removing this manually takes some skill regarding PCs. The best QUICK approach to remove HP Advisor is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your PC.

  • download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful PC management program.

3. Click on the General Tools category

5. All the programs installed on your computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find HP Advisor or simply activate the Search feature and type in "HP Advisor". If it is installed on your PC the HP Advisor app will be found very quickly. When you select HP Advisor in the list , some data regarding the application is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding HP Advisor, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the program you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

  • The uninstall string is: MsiExec.exe /X{73A43E42-3658-4DD9-8551-FACDA3632538}
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall HP Advisor.

8. After removing HP Advisor, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong HP Advisor which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing HP Advisor with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
