A way to uninstall HDCleaner from your system

HDCleaner is a Windows application. Read below about how to uninstall it from your PC. It was developed for Windows by Kurt Zimmermann. Open here for more info on Kurt Zimmermann. The application is often placed in the C:\Program Files\HDCleaner directory (same installation drive as Windows). The full command line for uninstalling HDCleaner is C:\Program Files\HDCleaner\Uninstaller.exe /uninstall. Keep in mind that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you may be prompted for administrator rights. HDCleaner's primary file takes about 1.90 MB (1994576 bytes) and is called HDCleaner.exe.

HDCleaner is comprised of the following executables which occupy 2.58 MB (2705904 bytes) on disk:

  • HDCleaner.exe (1.90 MB)
  • RecoverFiles.exe (200.50 KB)
  • Uninstaller.exe (425.33 KB)
  • Updater.exe (68.83 KB)

A way to remove HDCleaner from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

HDCleaner is an application released by Kurt Zimmermann. Some people try to remove this program. This can be easier said than done because deleting this by hand requires some skill regarding Windows internal functioning. The best EASY solution to remove HDCleaner is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your Windows computer.

  • download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of tools.

3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool

5. A list of the applications existing on the PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate HDCleaner or simply click the Search field and type in "HDCleaner". The HDCleaner application will be found automatically. When you select HDCleaner in the list , the following information regarding the application is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding HDCleaner, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the program you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall HDCleaner.

8. After removing HDCleaner, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items of HDCleaner that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling HDCleaner with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your system.

Your computer will remain clean, speedy and able to take on new tasks.
