A way to uninstall Gwyddion from your PC

Gwyddion is a Windows program. How to erase Gwyddion with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Gwyddion is a program offered by Gwyddion developers. Frequently, people choose to erase it. This is hard because doing this manually takes some advanced knowledge related to removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best SIMPLE manner to erase Gwyddion is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around tool to clean your computer.

• download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of tools.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the programs existing on your computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate Gwyddion or simply click the Search field and type in "Gwyddion". If it is installed on your PC the Gwyddion app will be found automatically. When you click Gwyddion in the list of applications, the following information regarding the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding Gwyddion, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Gwyddion:

• The software company is: http://gwyddion.net/
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Gwyddion\uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Gwyddion.


8. After uninstalling Gwyddion, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong Gwyddion that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling Gwyddion with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
