A way to delete Gwyddion with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Gwyddion is an application by Gwyddion developers. Some users want to remove it. Sometimes this can be troublesome because performing this by hand takes some skill related to Windows program uninstallation. The best SIMPLE solution to remove Gwyddion is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your Windows computer.

• go to Download Link
• download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows tool.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the programs installed on your computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find Gwyddion or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Gwyddion". If it is installed on your PC the Gwyddion app will be found automatically. Notice that after you click Gwyddion in the list , the following data regarding the program is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding Gwyddion, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the application you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Gwyddion:

• The web site of the application is: http://gwyddion.net/
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Gwyddion\uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. Confirm the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Gwyddion.


8. After uninstalling Gwyddion, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of Gwyddion that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing Gwyddion with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
