How to uninstall FATE from your system

This web page contains detailed information on how to remove FATE for Windows. The Windows release was created by WildTangent. You can read more on WildTangent or check for application updates here. Please follow if you want to read more on FATE on WildTangent's page. FATE is usually set up in the C:\Program Files (x86)\HP Games\FATE folder, but this location can vary a lot depending on the user's option when installing the application. FATE's full uninstall command line is C:\Program Files (x86)\HP Games\FATE\Uninstall.exe. Fate-WT.exe is the programs's main file and it takes close to 10.60 MB (11111000 bytes) on disk.

FATE is comprised of the following executables which take 10.76 MB (11278266 bytes) on disk:

  • Fate-WT.exe (10.60 MB)
  • Uninstall.exe (163.35 KB)

A way to erase FATE from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

FATE is a program offered by the software company WildTangent. Sometimes, people try to erase this program. Sometimes this is troublesome because performing this by hand requires some advanced knowledge regarding Windows internal functioning. One of the best SIMPLE approach to erase FATE is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general utility to optimize your computer.

  • visit Download Link
  • download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire the program's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows tool.

3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool

5. A list of the programs existing on your computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate FATE or simply click the Search feature and type in "FATE". If it exists on your system the FATE program will be found automatically. When you select FATE in the list of programs, some data regarding the application is shown to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding FATE, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the application you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.
For example you can see that for FATE:





  • The software company is: http://support.wildgames.com
  • The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\HP Games\FATE\Uninstall.exe
7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall FATE.

8. After uninstalling FATE, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items of FATE which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing FATE using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and ready to run without errors or problems.
