How to uninstall FATE from your system

FATE is a Windows application. Read below about how to uninstall it from your computer. The Windows release was developed by WildTangent. You can find out more on WildTangent or check for application updates here. Click on to get more information about FATE on WildTangent's website. The program is usually placed in the C:\Program Files\Gateway Games\FATE folder (same installation drive as Windows). You can remove FATE by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files\Gateway Games\FATE\Uninstall.exe. Note that you might get a notification for admin rights. The program's main executable file is titled Fate.exe and it has a size of 9.24 MB (9691136 bytes).

A way to erase FATE from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

FATE is a program offered by the software company WildTangent. Sometimes, people decide to erase it. This is troublesome because doing this manually takes some advanced knowledge regarding removing Windows applications by hand. The best EASY procedure to erase FATE is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around tool to maximize the performance of your Windows system.

  • download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire the program's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows tool.

3. Click on the General Tools button

4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature

5. A list of the programs installed on your computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate FATE or simply activate the Search feature and type in "FATE". If it exists on your system the FATE app will be found very quickly. When you click FATE in the list , some information regarding the program is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding FATE, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the app you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove FATE.

8. After removing FATE, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of FATE which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling FATE with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your computer.

Your computer will remain clean, speedy and able to run without errors or problems.
