When planning to uninstall ExpertAssist you should check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Directories left on disk:
  • C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Application Data\Dell Inc\ExpertAssist
  • C:\Program Files\Dell\ExpertAssist

Generally, the following files remain on disk:
  • C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Application Data\Dell Inc\ExpertAssist\KEY00664A_Error.log
  • C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Application Data\Dell Inc\ExpertAssist\KEY00664A_ExpertAssist.log
  • C:\Program Files\Dell\ExpertAssist\CheckCDrive.ps1
  • C:\Program Files\Dell\ExpertAssist\CPU.dat

Registry that is not uninstalled:

Open regedit.exe in order to remove the following values:

A way to delete ExpertAssist using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

ExpertAssist is a program marketed by Dell Inc.. Frequently, computer users try to erase it.   • download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

3. Press the General Tools category

5. A list of the applications installed on the PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find ExpertAssist or simply click the Search feature and type in "ExpertAssist". If it exists on your system the ExpertAssist program will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select ExpertAssist in the list of programs, some information regarding the application is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding ExpertAssist, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the application you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall ExpertAssist.

8. After removing ExpertAssist, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong ExpertAssist that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling ExpertAssist with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
