How to uninstall Dropbox from your PC

Dropbox is a computer program. Keep in mind that you might receive a notification for admin rights. Dropbox.exe is the Dropbox's primary executable file and it occupies about 23.80 MB (24952456 bytes) on disk.

Dropbox has the habit of leaving behind some leftovers.

You should delete the folders below after you uninstall Dropbox:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Temp\comtypes_cache\Dropbox-27
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Dropbox

The files below remain on your disk when you remove Dropbox:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Temp\dropbox_sqlite_ext.{5f3e3153-5bce-5766-8f84-3e3e7ecf0d81}.tmpzqfg74.dll

Many times the following registry keys will not be uninstalled:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Dropbox.AutoplayEventHandler
• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Dropbox

How to remove Dropbox from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about Dropbox, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the program you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Dropbox.


8. After uninstalling Dropbox, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of Dropbox which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them.
