A way to uninstall Dropbox from your computer

Dropbox is a Windows application. Read below about how to remove it from your computer. The Windows version was created by Dropbox, Inc.. More information on Dropbox, Inc. can be found here. Please open https://www.dropbox.com if you want to read more on Dropbox on Dropbox, Inc.'s page. The program is usually installed in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Dropbox\Client directory (same installation drive as Windows). C:\Program Files (x86)\Dropbox\Client\DropboxUninstaller.exe is the full command line if you want to uninstall Dropbox. Dropbox.exe is the Dropbox's primary executable file and it takes close to 27.89 MB (29246632 bytes) on disk.

Dropbox is composed of the following executables which occupy 28.16 MB (29530912 bytes) on disk:

A way to uninstall Dropbox from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Dropbox is a program marketed by Dropbox, Inc.. Frequently, users choose to uninstall this program. This is difficult because deleting this by hand takes some knowledge regarding Windows internal functioning. The best QUICK procedure to uninstall Dropbox is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general utility to optimize your computer.

• download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire the program's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the programs existing on the PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find Dropbox or simply click the Search feature and type in "Dropbox". If it is installed on your PC the Dropbox application will be found very quickly. After you click Dropbox in the list of applications, some information regarding the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding Dropbox, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the app you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Dropbox.


8. After uninstalling Dropbox, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong Dropbox that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
