When planning to uninstall DriverUpdate you should check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Many times the following registry data will not be cleaned:
  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Pokki\IndexCache\FileItems\c:|programdata|microsoft|windows|start menu|programs|driverupdate
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\96FE91B2FE2E74847A14147E2ABA2CEE
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\SlimWare Utilities Inc\DriverUpdate
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\SlimWare Utilities Inc\DriverUpdate

Use regedit.exe to remove the following additional registry values from the Windows Registry:
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\96FE91B2FE2E74847A14147E2ABA2CEE\ProductName
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\Folders\C:\Program Files\DriverUpdate\
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\Folders\C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\DriverUpdate\


A way to erase DriverUpdate from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO
