After the uninstall process, the application leaves some files behind on the PC. Some of these are shown below.

The files below are left behind on your disk when you remove DriverUpdate:
  • C:\Windows\Installer\{76F909AC-80EB-47F4-AE1C-299741F83F76}\Icon.exe

Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the data below:
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\CA909F67BE084F74EAC19279148FF367
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{76F909AC-80EB-47F4-AE1C-299741F83F76}

Open regedit.exe to remove the registry values below from the Windows Registry:
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\CA909F67BE084F74EAC19279148FF367\ProductName


How to delete DriverUpdate using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

DriverUpdate is an application released by Slimware Utilities Holdings, Inc.. Sometimes, computer users try to uninstall this program. 6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate DriverUpdate or simply activate the Search feature and type in "DriverUpdate". If it exists on your system the DriverUpdate program will be found automatically. Notice that when you select DriverUpdate in the list of apps, the following data regarding the program is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding DriverUpdate, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the application you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. accept the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall DriverUpdate.

8. After removing DriverUpdate, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of DriverUpdate which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them.
