When planning to uninstall DriverFinder you should check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Folders remaining:
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\DriverFinder
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\DriverFinder

Check for and delete the following files from your disk when you uninstall DriverFinder:
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\DriverFinder\DriverFinder.chm
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\DriverFinder\config.bin
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\DriverFinder\config.ini
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\DriverFinder\license.ini

Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the keys below:
  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\DriverFinder
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\DriverFinder
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\DriverFinder

After you select DriverFinder in the list of programs, some data regarding the application is shown to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding DriverFinder, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the application you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove DriverFinder.
