Following the uninstall process, the application leaves some files behind on the PC. Some of these are shown below.

You should delete the folders below after you uninstall Driver Support:
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Driver Support
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Driver Support

Generally, the following files are left on disk:
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Driver Support\Agent.Common.dll
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Driver Support\Agent.Common.XmlSerializers.dll
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Driver Support\Agent.Communication.dll
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Driver Support\Agent.Communication.XmlSerializers.dll

Usually the following registry keys will not be uninstalled:
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\DriverSupport
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Veloxum\PersistingProperties\Driver Support Active Optimization

Use regedit.exe to remove the following additional values from the Windows Registry:
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\DriverSupport\DisplayIcon
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\DriverSupport\HelpLink
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\DriverSupport\InstallLocation
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\DriverSupport\UninstallString


How to uninstall Driver Support with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Driver Support is a program offered by PC Drivers HeadQuarters LP. Frequently, users choose to remove it. 6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate Driver Support or simply activate the Search field and type in "Driver Support". The Driver Support app will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select Driver Support in the list of apps, some data regarding the application is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding Driver Support, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".

All the items of Driver Support which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
