How to uninstall Dev-C++ using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Dev-C++ is a program offered by Bloodshed Software. Sometimes, computer users choose to uninstall it. This is easier said than done because deleting this manually takes some know-how related to Windows program uninstallation. The best SIMPLE action to uninstall Dev-C++ is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and all around tool to clean your system.

  • download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good system utility.

3. Click on the General Tools button

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate Dev-C++ or simply activate the Search field and type in "Dev-C++". The Dev-C++ program will be found automatically. After you click Dev-C++ in the list of programs, some data regarding the application is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have regarding Dev-C++, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the app you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall Dev-C++.
