Dev-C++ has the habit of leaving behind some leftovers.

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be uninstalled; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Dev-C++

How to remove Dev-C++ from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Dev-C++ is an application by the software company Bloodshed Software. Some people decide to remove this application. Sometimes this is difficult because deleting this manually requires some advanced knowledge related to removing Windows programs manually. The best EASY procedure to remove Dev-C++ is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general utility to clean your system.

• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful PC management program.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the applications installed on the computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate Dev-C++ or simply click the Search feature and type in "Dev-C++". If it is installed on your PC the Dev-C++ application will be found very quickly. When you click Dev-C++ in the list , the following information regarding the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding Dev-C++, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Dev-C++.


8. After removing Dev-C++, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Dev-C++ that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Dev-C++ using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and ready to serve you properly.
