How to uninstall Dell SupportAssist using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Dell SupportAssist is a program offered by Dell. Some computer users choose to uninstall it. Sometimes this is easier said than done because removing this by hand requires some know-how related to Windows internal functioning. The best SIMPLE manner to uninstall Dell SupportAssist is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around utility to optimize your Windows system.

  • navigate to Download Link
  • download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire the program's design and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools button

5. A list of the programs existing on the computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate Dell SupportAssist or simply click the Search field and type in "Dell SupportAssist". The Dell SupportAssist app will be found automatically. After you select Dell SupportAssist in the list of applications, some information about the application is available to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have about Dell SupportAssist, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the application you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Dell SupportAssist.

8. After removing Dell SupportAssist, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of Dell SupportAssist that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Dell SupportAssist with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your PC.
