Some files and registry entries are typically left behind when you uninstall Dell SupportAssist.

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be removed; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

A way to delete Dell SupportAssist from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Dell SupportAssist is an application by Dell. Some users choose to uninstall this application. Sometimes this is efortful because removing this by hand takes some experience related to Windows internal functioning. One of the best EASY procedure to uninstall Dell SupportAssist is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general utility to maximize the performance of your Windows PC.

  • download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

3. Press the General Tools button

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate Dell SupportAssist or simply click the Search feature and type in "Dell SupportAssist". If it exists on your system the Dell SupportAssist app will be found very quickly. When you select Dell SupportAssist in the list of programs, the following information regarding the application is available to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding Dell SupportAssist, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the app you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. Confirm the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Dell SupportAssist.

By uninstalling Dell SupportAssist with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
