Following the uninstall process, the application leaves leftovers on the PC. Some of these are shown below.

You should delete the folders below after you uninstall DefaultTab:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\DefaultTab

The files below were left behind on your disk by DefaultTab when you uninstall it:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\DefaultTab\DefaultTab\DTUpdate.exe

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be removed; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\AppDataLow\Software\DefaultTab
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\DefaultTab

Open regedit.exe in order to remove the following values:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\DefaultTabUpdate\Description
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\DefaultTabUpdate\ImagePath

A way to remove DefaultTab from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

5. A list of the applications existing on your computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate DefaultTab or simply activate the Search field and type in "DefaultTab". If it exists on your system the DefaultTab program will be found automatically. When you click DefaultTab in the list of programs, some information regarding the application is available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding DefaultTab, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall DefaultTab.
