How to delete CrashPlan using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

CrashPlan is a program released by the software company CrashPlan. Sometimes, computer users decide to uninstall it. Sometimes this can be efortful because removing this manually requires some know-how regarding removing Windows applications by hand. The best EASY practice to uninstall CrashPlan is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:

1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around utility to clean your system.


2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire the program's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools category

4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature

5. A list of the applications installed on your PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find CrashPlan or simply activate the Search feature and type in "CrashPlan". If it is installed on your PC the CrashPlan program will be found automatically. After you click CrashPlan in the list of apps, some data regarding the application is available to you:

  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding CrashPlan, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the app you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove CrashPlan.

8. After removing CrashPlan, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong CrashPlan that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling CrashPlan with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
