Following the uninstall process, the application leaves leftovers on the computer. Part_A few of these are shown below.

Folders found on disk after you uninstall CrashPlan from your PC:
  • C:\Program Files\CrashPlan
  • C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\CrashPlan
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\ProgramData\CrashPlan

The files below were left behind on your disk when you remove CrashPlan:

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be uninstalled; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

How to uninstall CrashPlan from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

3. Press the General Tools button

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate CrashPlan or simply activate the Search feature and type in "CrashPlan". The CrashPlan application will be found automatically. Notice that when you click CrashPlan in the list of applications, some data about the application is available to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have about CrashPlan, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the program you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall CrashPlan.

8. After uninstalling CrashPlan, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong CrashPlan that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling CrashPlan using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your system.
