How to uninstall Connectify from your system

Some files and registry entries are frequently left behind when you uninstall Connectify.

Folders that were left behind:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\Connectify
• C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Connectify
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Temp\Connectify

Check for and delete the following files from your disk when you uninstall Connectify:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\Connectify\Analytics.exe
• C:\Program Files (x86)\Connectify\appscreens\activateError.html
• C:\Program Files (x86)\Connectify\appscreens\connectify.png
• C:\Program Files (x86)\Connectify\appscreens\style.css

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be removed; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\connectify
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Connectify
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Connectify

Additional registry values that you should remove:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\connectify\DefaultIcon\
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\connectify\shell\open\command\
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\connectifydispatch\DefaultIcon\
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\connectifydispatch\shell\open\command\

How to delete Connectify from your PC with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Connectify is an application offered by the software company Connectify. Some users choose to remove this application. 6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate Connectify or simply click the Search field and type in "Connectify". If it exists on your system the Connectify program will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select Connectify in the list of applications, the following data regarding the program is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding Connectify, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the application you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Connectify:

• The publisher is: http://www.connectify.me/
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Connectify\Uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Connectify.


8. After removing Connectify, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Connectify that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling Connectify with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
