How to uninstall CodeLite from your PC

CodeLite is a computer program. This page contains details on how to remove it from your computer. The Windows version was created by Eran Ifrah. Go over here for more details on Eran Ifrah. Please follow http://codelite.org if you want to read more on CodeLite on Eran Ifrah's web page. Usually the CodeLite application is placed in the C:\Program Files\CodeLite folder, depending on the user's option during install. You can uninstall CodeLite by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files\CodeLite\unins000.exe. Note that you might be prompted for administrator rights. codelite.exe is the CodeLite's primary executable file and it takes about 7.97 MB (8356864 bytes) on disk.

A way to remove CodeLite with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

CodeLite is a program marketed by Eran Ifrah. Sometimes, people choose to erase it. Sometimes this can be easier said than done because deleting this manually requires some advanced knowledge related to Windows program uninstallation. One of the best SIMPLE practice to erase CodeLite is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around tool to optimize your Windows PC.

• go to Download Link
• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good PC management program.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the programs installed on your computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate CodeLite or simply activate the Search field and type in "CodeLite". If it is installed on your PC the CodeLite app will be found automatically. Notice that when you select CodeLite in the list of applications, some information regarding the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding CodeLite, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for CodeLite:

• The web site of the application is: http://codelite.org
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\CodeLite\unins000.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. accept the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall CodeLite.


8. After uninstalling CodeLite, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong CodeLite that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling CodeLite with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your computer.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and able to take on new tasks.
