How to uninstall Carbonite from your PC

Carbonite is a Windows application. A way to erase Carbonite with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Carbonite is a program released by Carbonite. Some people decide to uninstall this program. Sometimes this is difficult because performing this by hand takes some skill related to removing Windows programs manually. One of the best EASY solution to uninstall Carbonite is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and all around utility to maximize the performance of your Windows system.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good program.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs installed on the computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find Carbonite or simply click the Search field and type in "Carbonite". If it is installed on your PC the Carbonite app will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select Carbonite in the list of apps, some information about the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about Carbonite, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details about the application you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Carbonite:

• The publisher is: www.carbonite.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Carbonite\Carbonite Backup\CarboniteSetup.exe /remove

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Carbonite.


8. After uninstalling Carbonite, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of Carbonite which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Carbonite with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your system.
