How to delete Carbonite from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Carbonite is a program offered by Carbonite. Some computer users decide to remove it.   • download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful PC management program.

3. Press the General Tools button

4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool

5. All the applications existing on the PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Carbonite or simply click the Search feature and type in "Carbonite". If it is installed on your PC the Carbonite program will be found automatically. After you select Carbonite in the list of applications, some information regarding the program is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding Carbonite, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the app you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

  • The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Carbonite\Carbonite Backup\CarboniteSetup.exe /remove
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Carbonite.

8. After removing Carbonite, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong Carbonite which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing Carbonite using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your system.
