How to uninstall CX-Server from your PC

CX-Server is a Windows program. When planning to uninstall CX-Server you should check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Folders found on disk after you uninstall CX-Server from your PC:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\OMRON\CX-Server
• C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\OMRON\CX-Server

The files below remain on your disk by CX-Server when you uninstall it:

Many times the following registry data will not be cleaned:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.cdm
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{0C88BE0F-22AC-4ABA-8A2F-120687404288}
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{213C6116-9D07-4D08-8732-D3739CDCEFA5}
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{2963B6E4-67EA-11D6-8CBA-00105A984AF3}

Use regedit.exe to delete the following additional values from the Windows Registry:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\cdmfile\DefaultIcon\
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\cdmfile\Shell\Edit\Command\
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{075B4495-B6E8-11D3-8612-005004606465}\InprocServer32\
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{075B4499-B6E8-11D3-8612-005004606465}\InprocServer32\
